The
QPM11-NO pressure switch is an adjustable, normally open (NO) pneumatic switch primarily used for controlling air pressure in industrial applications. When the detected pressure reaches the preset value, the switch closes the circuit. The NO in the model name indicates its “Normally Open” contact state, while the QPM11 refers to its model series.

How it works
The “Normally Open” (NO) designation means that the switch’s electrical contacts are disconnected by default.
- When the pneumatic pressure is below the set point, the circuit remains open.
- Once the pressure rises and reaches the specific value you’ve adjusted, it will trigger the switch to close the circuit, allowing electricity to flow.
- The pressure can be adjusted by turning the hexagonal nut in the center of the switch.
